For independent garages and body shops

Auto repair
answering service.

Your techs are under a car and the service desk is with a customer. Your virtual phone assistant, powered by AI, answers from your approved information, books drop-offs on the plans that include it, and passes the details to your service advisor. It never diagnoses a car by phone.

While you’re busy

“Can I drop my car off tomorrow morning?”

✓Drop-off time offered.

Booked from your connected calendar, or sent to your service desk.

At the service desk

Brakes, lights,
and body work.

Each one is answered from the information you approve. Nothing is diagnosed, quoted, or promised that your shop has not approved.

  • “My check engine light just came on.”

Takes the vehicle, what it is doing, and a callback number, then offers your diagnostic appointment. It never guesses at the cause.

  • “How much do you charge to look at it?”

Quotes your approved diagnostic or inspection fee. Repair totals come from your shop after an inspection.

  • “Do you work on European cars?”

Answers from the makes and services you approve, and says plainly when your shop does not take a job.

  • “Can I get an oil change Saturday?”

Books an open drop-off time after the caller confirms, or takes a request for your service desk.

  • “Is my car ready yet?”

It cannot see your shop software, so it routes the call to your service advisor or takes a message with the name and vehicle.

  • “I was in an accident and need an estimate.”

Captures the collision estimate request with the vehicle and a callback number, and shares what you ask customers to bring.

  • “My brakes are grinding. Is it safe to drive?”

It never judges whether a car is safe. It gives your approved safety instruction, such as pulling over and calling roadside assistance, then offers your next opening.

  • “¿Me pueden revisar los frenos esta semana?”

Continues in Spanish with the same services, fees, and drop-off times.

When the call ends

Everything your
service advisor needs.

After every call, your shop gets a written summary by email and in your customer portal, ready for whoever writes up the ticket.

  • The caller's name and callback number
  • Year, make, and model, as the caller gives them
  • What the car is doing, in the caller's words
  • Maintenance, repair, or collision estimate
  • The drop-off time booked or requested
  • Anything urgent, flagged for your team

Your rules, every call

Never a diagnosis.
Always the details.

Your virtual phone assistant never diagnoses a vehicle, judges whether it is safe to drive, or builds a repair quote. It quotes the fees you approve, such as a diagnostic inspection, and leaves the rest to your techs.

You decide which calls reach a person right away, such as a customer waiting on a pickup or a fleet account. Linevio does not dispatch tow trucks or roadside help, and anyone describing danger hears your approved safety instruction.

The math on missed calls

A missed call
is an open bay.

A driver with a warning light can call the next shop on the list just as easily. Put in a typical week at your shop and see what reaches voicemail in a year.

At stake every year

$42,120

About 94 jobs a year you would usually win, riding on calls nobody answers.

Business: $2,988 a year ($249 a month)

At $150 left per job, 2 completed jobs a month cover it.

An estimate from the numbers above, not a promise. Linevio answers the calls and gets the details to your team; winning the work is still up to you. Starting numbers are examples to change, not industry averages. The plan fee excludes setup, extra minutes, and taxes.

Getting set up

What we need
from you.

Setup is a conversation with your Voice Partner, not another system for the shop to learn. They build it from your answers and test it with you.

  • ✓The services you offer, and the makes or jobs you do not take
  • ✓Diagnostic, inspection, or other fees callers may hear
  • ✓Drop-off, pickup, and Saturday hours
  • ✓Who takes transfers: service desk, body shop, or parts
  • ✓What you tell callers about loaners, rides, or waiting
  • ✓Appointment types to book from your connected calendar
  • ✓Your safety instruction for a car that may not be safe to drive
A note on auto shop fit

Linevio answers and routes calls. It does not diagnose vehicles, look up repair orders in your shop software, quote repairs, take payments, or dispatch towing and roadside help. Your service advisors stay in charge of estimates and approvals.

Before you pick up

Questions
owners ask.

Appointment booking by phoneAfter-hours answeringPlans and pricing
Can it tell a customer what is wrong with their car?+

No. It writes down what the caller describes and offers your diagnostic appointment or a callback. Your techs make the diagnosis.

Can it tell customers when their car will be ready?+

No. It cannot see your shop management software or repair orders. It routes status calls to your service desk during the hours you choose, or takes a message with the customer's name and vehicle.

Can it book drop-off appointments?+

Yes, on every plan. It offers open times for the appointment types you approve and books only after the caller confirms. Anything outside those types becomes a detailed request for your service desk.

Can calls go straight to my service advisor?+

Yes, when you approve it. Choose who takes which calls, such as the service desk, the body shop, or parts. Essential includes up to two transfer destinations, Business up to five with schedules, and Pro up to ten. If nobody picks up, it takes a message.
